Vietnam
In the land of water, of flooded rice fields!
Vietnam is a country, a culture, a history and not a war; a country ruined and destroyed by 30 years of conflict and power for independence. But there are still monuments, drowned rice fields and terraced rice fields… Majestic mountains, natural parks with lush vegetation, a coastline of blond sand, turquoise and emerald water and… warm.
Here is a splendid country whose geographical silhouette draws the form of a dragon, symbol of strength and benefits in the Far East. There, all is rice fields flooded under the sun, surrounded by hedges of bamboo, conical hats and women in costume of Áo Dài (the traditional tunic).
From Halong Bay to the Mekong Delta passing Hanoi, a city with colonial architecture, by the imperial city of Huê with the valley of the mausoleums of Nguyên emperors, by the ancient port city of Hoian and by Saigon, this country will reveal its history, its landscapes and its civilizations
